Led by the talented bassist Seth Ford-Young, the group features Sylvain Carton on woodwinds, Mitchell Yoshida on electric piano, and Josh Collazo on drums. This special release, titled “Morning Sun / Arrival,” is set to drop on September 6th and is limited to just 500 BioVinyl copies.
The lead single, ‘Morning Sun,’ draws inspiration from the diverse musical environment of Seth Ford-Young’s neighborhood. Ford-Young elaborates, “The live music in my neighborhood ranges from regional Mexican styles like Mariachi and Banda to Cumbia, Salsa, and Reggaeton, along with Oldies or ‘Brown-Eyed Soul.’ Sometimes, the same band will play multiple styles throughout the evening, creating an intriguing ‘mashup.’ These sounds permeate my music, becoming part of my sonic DNA.”
