A musical paradigm was created by the trio that makes up To Rococo Rot and they did just so with their 1999 album, ‘The Amateur View.’ The Berlin-based band was known for their innovative musical technique, which was a seamless blend of electronic and analog elements, and they became an instrumental force in the post-rock music genre. The trio comprised of bassist Stefan Schneider and the Lippok brothers, Robert and Ronald, fashioned a distinctive digital sound which was also distinctly human, pushing the boundaries of musical creation during their active years from 1995 to 2014.
