The buzz-worthy pop foursome, FIZZ, has just dropped their latest single, ‘As Good As It Gets.’ This is the fourth track to be released from their much-anticipated debut album, ‘The Secret To Life.’ The group, comprised of friends dodie, Orla Gartland, Greta Isaac, and Martin Luke Brown, has been stoking the excitement for their upcoming album with a string of uplifting singles, including ‘High In Brighton,’ ‘Hell of a Ride,’ and ‘Close One.’
FIZZ describes ‘As Good As It Gets’ as a song born out of years of enduring patronizing attitudes, invasion of personal space, and being expected to be grateful for minimal recognition. The song serves as a collective expression of their disdain for these experiences and a firm assertion that they deserve better.
Given the track’s focus on uniquely female experiences, the band decided to have Martin take a step back from vocal duties. They invited Tummyache’s Soren Bryce, who also engineered the album, to contribute to the song. This collaboration was a much-needed release of accumulated pressure and tension, leading to a therapeutic and healing musical experience.
In addition to their fresh release, FIZZ has announced a nine-city UK tour scheduled for the autumn. The tour dates include:
