Great news for fans of Föllakzoid! The band’s seminal record ‘II’ has been repressed by Sacred Bones Records in celebration of its 10th anniversary. The album is set to be released on a stunning gold vinyl edition on September 22nd. If you are keen on adding this to your collection, it is available for pre-order now while supplies last.

Recorded in Chile, where the band was based at the time, ‘II’ offers a serpentine journey through their mystical homeland. Composed of five tracks, this album has solidified its place among the best psychedelic krautrock records, creating a mind-expanding masterpiece that fans have appreciated over the years.

Keep a close eye on Föllakzoid’s Spotify page for upcoming announcements. A new project seems to be on the horizon!

In addition to the ‘II’ repress, Sacred Bones Records has a limited supply of Föllakzoid’s self-titled punk debut album on their distro page. This is a great find for fans of Total Control, Neu, The Men, and Black Sabbath.

In another fascinating development, LD Deutsch’s new essay, ‘Myths + Models of Time & Timelessness,’ investigates the complex human relationship to Time. The essay explores a variety of questions around the nature of Time, our perception of it, and its implications on our human nature.

Deutsch’s essay, a reimagining and expansion of her earlier work ‘Mythologies of Time and Timelessness,’ will be released on August 18th. However, you can pre-order a copy now or grab an advanced copy at Printed Matter’s Los Angeles Art Book Fair from August 10 – 13.

SPELLLING’s new track, “Hard to Please (Reprise),” from her forthcoming album was released yesterday. Alongside the release, the complete lineup for SPELLLING and Atlas Obscura’s ‘Through the Looking Glass’ event next month was also announced.

In addition, Audiotree has released a brilliant performance by Molchat Doma as part of their Far Out sessions. The setting of the historic Palmer House Hotel’s Red Lacquer Ballroom perfectly matches the band’s austere gothic sensibility.

If you happened to miss the signing announcements last month, be sure to check out the videos for Lathe of Heaven’s first single “Ekpyrosis” and Sextile’s first single “New York.”
