Nene H, also known as Beste Aydin, brings her experiences of grief and life as a woman of a Muslim upbringing in the western world to the forefront with her debut album for NYC’s Incienso label. Following in the footsteps of acclaimed LPs by DJ Python and Call Super, Nene H’s album ‘Ali علي’ is a homage to her late father and skillfully combines elements of classical music and club styles across its eight tracks.
