Emeralds make a grand reentry into the music scene following the critically-acclaimed 2010 album, Does it Look Like I’m Here?. Ghostly International proudly presents an updated and remastered edition, courtesy of the masterful touch of Heba Kadry. The expanded album isn’t just a reissue; it’s an evolution. It now incorporates seven additional tracks exclusive to the digital album and CD format, highlighted by two captivating remixes from Daphni. The tangible music experience is enhanced with an ectoplasm-colored 2xLP edition and a limited tape version, both accompanied by comprehensive liner notes from the respected Chris Madak, known for his work as Bee Mask. Music aficionados can also join the Ghostly team for a special online listening session today at 12:00 PM EDT on Bandcamp.

Meanwhile, Ghostly International continues its commitment to quality music with the upcoming LP from Mary Lattimore, titled Goodbye, Hotel Arkada. Scheduled for an October 6th release, the album promises a journey through Lattimore’s distinct harp notes, starting off with the evocative single “And Then He Wrapped His Wings Around Me”. This track, which features Meg Baird and Walt McClements, brings forth memories of Lattimore’s cherished encounter with Big Bird from Sesame Street during her childhood in Asheville.

But that’s not all from Ghostly. Music enthusiasts can get their hands on vinyl represses of Shigeto classics, Lineage and No Better Time Than Now, as well as offerings from Khotin and Com Truise. For those inclined towards digital delights, Ghostly’s SoundCloud houses mixes from Julie Byrne and Lusine, encompassing a blend of delicate electronics and soothing weekend vibes.

In the playlist realm, Ghostly has curated Sleep and At Rest to cater to lovers of minimal drone and tranquil compositions, ideal for winding down.

Finally, live music fans can look forward to Khotin’s Japanese tour next month, Julie Byrne’s US tour in September, and Mary Lattimore’s comprehensive fall tour. These artists, along with Kate Bollinger, will be spreading Ghostly’s signature musical magic across various cities.

With a history rooted in quality, innovation, and passion, Ghostly International stands as a beacon for music lovers, and the latest offerings from Emeralds and Mary Lattimore are a testament to the label’s dedication to sound that resonates.
