Milan-based outfit The Gluts have set the stage for their upcoming album, Bang!, slated for release on May 31st. To herald the arrival of this highly anticipated record, the band has shared the lead single, “Cade Giù” – a blistering two-minute eruption of searing psych-punk noise.
Following their 2021 LP, Ungrateful Heart, Bang! marks The Gluts’ fifth studio album, promising a sonic journey that balances punchy, fast-paced punk anthems with daring experimentalism. The album encapsulates the raw strength and energy of the band’s electrifying live performances, known for their wild, feedback-drenched intensity.
Describing the album as “the sound of a single gunshot, straight to the heart,” The Gluts have crafted a collection of tracks that pulsate with urgency and raw emotion. Bang! navigates between infectious punk hooks and immersive sonic explorations, offering a visceral listening experience that resonates long after the final chord fades.
The band offers insight into the creation of “Cade Giù,” noting that it is their first song recorded in Italian. The track delves into the hazy memories of post-show revelry, capturing the essence of a wild night spent with friends and collaborators.
Fans can pre-order the limited edition Bang! vinyl via the Fuzz Club store/Membership, featuring a 180g pink vinyl pressing with a printed inner-sleeve and hand-numbered out of 350 copies.
In celebration of the album’s release, The Gluts will perform at London’s Shacklewell Arms on May 31st, with additional appearances scheduled at Fuzz Club Festival on May 4th at The Effenaar, Eindhoven, and PALP Festival in Switzerland.
