A sneak peek into the upcoming album has been unveiled in the form of a new track, “Thinking Of You.” Showcasing Skream’s dreamlike finesse, this piece stands apart from his prior work. Detailing the inspiration behind the release, Jones said, “’Thinking Of You’ originated as a voice note during the second lockdown, perhaps in a moment of heightened emotion, during the anticipation of societal reintegration. My son was starting high school, and I found myself contemplating the pressures that children endure, especially in the context of the lockdown, with the sudden cessation of their everyday lives. I reflected on the anxiety of teenage years, recalling my personal experiences and the social pressures that coincide with adolescence. Eventually, I realized this voice note could be transformed into a song. After several iterations that failed to capture the intended emotional depth, ‘Thinking Of You’ was born, and I am confident that it will resonate with audiences from all walks of life.”
