Armand Hammer has released a new single, “Woke Up And Asked Siri How I’m Gonna Die,” produced by JPEGMAFIA. This release follows their lead single “Trauma Mic,” featuring Pink Siifu and produced by DJ Haram. The track is part of their forthcoming album, ‘We Buy Diabetic Test Strips,’ which is set to drop on September 29 via Fat Possum Records. The single is also accompanied by a music video directed by Joseph.
Billy woods, one half of the duo, shares his thoughts on the collaboration with JPEGMAFIA and how the new single integrates into the album. He explains that while some tracks may have a great verse, beat, and hook, others possess a unique quality where all the elements come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts—something akin to alchemy. He notes that while there were several such moments on the album, this single was the first to give that feeling of everything falling into place perfectly.
