Acclaimed DJ and music producer, Dillon Francis, has unveiled his highly-anticipated ‘Music Is My Passion’ series, set to electrify various venues across Los Angeles over three nights.
The musical spree kicks off on Nov. 30 at West Hollywood’s iconic The Roxy, where Francis will step into the shoes of his alter ego, DJ Hanzel. The following night, Dec. 1, promises an enthralling performance at The Mayan, where attendees can expect a Moombahton set peppered with reggaeton and dance tracks. This particular set draws inspiration from the vibes Francis championed during his Taco Tuesday live streams on YouTube amidst the 2020 lockdown. The grand finale of this three-day LA extravaganza is slated for Dec. 2 at The Shrine, aptly named ‘Dillon Francis and Friends’.
Fans eager to be part of this musical journey can mark their calendars for Friday, Aug. 11, when general admission tickets go live. However, for those looking to snag their spots early, a special presale will commence on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at dillonfrancis.com/tour.
This tour serves as a promotional push for Dillon’s upcoming album, “This Mixtape Is Fire Too,” which follows his 2015 release “This Mixtape Is Fire.” A few of the album’s tracks, including collaborations with Good Times Ahead on “LA on Acid,” INJI on “Pretty People,” and the heart-pumping “Don’t Let Me Let Go” featuring Illenium and Evan Giia, have already made waves among fans.
Earlier this year in April, Dillon showcased his versatile DJing prowess at the 15th annual Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio. Invited by fellow DJ superstar, Diplo, Francis’ set at the Honky Tonk stage was a mesmerizing blend of electronic and country music, drawing a crowd so massive it extended well beyond the tent’s confines.
