Pioneering record producer DJ Shadow is back, heralding the arrival of his seventh studio album, ‘Action Adventure,’ with the lead single ‘Ozone Scraper.’ The song also comes paired with a visual treat, directed by Stefano Ottaviano.
In a departure from his 2019 ensemble extravaganza ‘Our Pathetic Age,’ this 14-track collection largely steps away from vocal features, demonstrating DJ Shadow’s commitment to “write music that flexed different energies.”
On August 9, the artist took to Instagram, offering fans insight into his current artistic mindset: “I needed to get personal and make music for myself again. I didn’t want to compromise… I wanted to permeate every available sonic space and ‘own’ the total composition.”
