fabric has announced a special one-off event at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral, featuring an “immersive” performance by GRAMMY-nominated artist RY X. This marks the first time fabric has held an event at the iconic British landmark and is part of their new event series called “Love Hertz.” The event will also feature support from Japanese composer Hinako Omori.

The event aims to offer a fusion of live, contemporary music and electronica, creating an immersive experience for the audience. Limited seated tickets will be available for this unique occasion.

RY X, an Australian artist, producer, and visual director, received a GRAMMY nomination last year for his work on Drake‘s ‘Honestly Nevermind.’ He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Diplo, John Legend, Black Coffee, and Duke Dumont. In addition to his production work, RY X has collaborated with the LA and London Philharmonic orchestras on special projects.

RY X expresses his gratitude for the opportunity to perform in one of the world’s most famous buildings, stating, “I’m honored to get to share within those intricate walls and floors, and to pour new stories into halls visited by millions each year.” He will be joined by players from the London Contemporary Orchestra to present both new compositions and rediscoveries of previously written pieces.

This event will also mark the debut of fabric’s new event series, “Love Hertz,” which aims to curate boundary-pushing musical events exploring the interlinks between contemporary music and new spaces, encompassing indie, ethereal, experimental, and deeper sounds.

Assisted by the talented Hinako Omori, who is signed to fabric’s in-house label Houndstooth Records, and the innovative London Contemporary Orchestra, this unique experience promises to be unforgettable, offering a blend of insightful and brilliant performances.
