Night Beats’ Debut Album Gets Vinyl Reissue: Splatter Edition Available Now!

Exciting news for vinyl enthusiasts and fans of garage-rock: Night Beats’ 2011 self-titled debut album is receiving a much-anticipated reissue on June 21st! Long out of print, this modern garage-rock classic is making its triumphant return to wax, with a killer splatter edition available exclusively on the Fuzz Club store. Plus, don’t miss out on the exclusive poster designed by Danny Lee Blackwell himself.

Danny Lee Blackwell’s R&B-inspired Western Psychedelic sound takes center stage on this 12-track set, delivering a sonic experience that’s equal parts reckoning and shoot-out at dawn. From the ear-splitting peel-out to the cloud of red dust left in its wake, Night Beats’ debut album is a force to be reckoned with.

Originally released as the band’s first full-length introduction, the ‘Night Beats’ LP catapulted them to the forefront of the burgeoning contemporary psych scene. Following early releases like the ‘H-Bomb’ 45 and a split 10″ with UFO Club, this album solidified Night Beats’ reputation for scuzzy rock’n’roll and set the stage for their subsequent success.

Reflecting on the record and the forthcoming reissue, Danny Lee Blackwell shares his thoughts: “Turning stones, looking for a sound. In bloom, or right before. Looking back on this first album I see a band with ideas that committed early on… I’m proud of it and very glad it’s getting a long overdue repress.”

To celebrate the reissue, Night Beats will be hitting the road for an EU/UK tour, culminating in a performance at Fuzz Club Festival on May 3rd at The Effenaar in Eindhoven. Don’t miss your chance to experience the electrifying energy of Night Beats live in concert!
