Iconic punk rock band NOFX has announced their last Australian tour as part of their “40 Years 40 Cities 40 Songs Per Night” tour. Following their appearance at last year’s Good Things festival, the band will return to Australia for one final run, giving fans a last chance to experience the fire and fury of NOFX live in action. The band is set to play two shows each in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne in January 2024 before bidding goodbye to Australia for good.

On the first night in each city, the band will focus the setlist on tracks from the albums ‘Wolves’ In Wolves Clothing,’ ‘Punk in Drublic,’ and ‘The War On Errorism.’ On the second night, they will work through ‘White Trash, Two Heebs And A Bean,’ ‘So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes,’ and ‘The Decline.’ The band promises that no setlist will be the same, and each will feature a whopping 40 songs, ensuring they go out with a bang.
Bassist and lead vocalist Fat Mike stated, “This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath. These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts…With all our joy…And then we are done. We are done done.”
Since forming in the early ’80s, NOFX quickly became a foundational force in the American hardcore and skate punk scenes before gaining a cult global following. Their unique blend of thrashing power chords, hectic stage performances, and humorous yet political lyricism has influenced generations of musicians and won over fans worldwide. As expected, their farewell is anticipated to be rowdy, loud, and a little emotional – as it should be.
Tickets for NOFX’s last Australian tour will go on sale on September 8 at 10 am, with a Live Nation presale opening a day earlier. Fans are encouraged to grab their tickets early to witness the end of an era as NOFX takes the stage in Australia for the last time.
