Seefeel, a British band formed in the ’90s, are known for their unique blend of shoegaze and glitchy electronic music. They were the first band with guitars to sign with Warp Records, a label primarily known for dance music at the time. After releasing three albums, Seefeel went on hiatus in 1997 only to return in 2009 with a self-titled comeback album in 2011. The band consists of longtime members Mark Clifford and Sarah Peacock, operating as a duo on their latest project, “Everything Squared”.

On their upcoming six-song mini-LP, “Everything Squared”, Shigeru Ishihara (also known as DJ Scotch Egg) who was part of Seefeel during the making of their self-titled album, is featured on guitar for two tracks. The opening track, “Sky Hooks”, sets the tone with its moody and glitchy vibes, clocking in at six minutes. The album’s tracklist includes songs like “Multifolds”, “Lose The Minus”, “Antiskeptic”, “Hooked Paw”, and “End Of Here”.

In addition to their new album release, Seefeel have announced a few UK shows in the pipeline. The tour dates include performances in London at Cafe OTO on 8/28, Strange Brew in Bristol on 9/20, and Soup in Manchester on 9/21. “Everything Squared” is set to be released on August 30th through Warp Records.

Drawing influences from their early days of combining shoegaze and electronic music, Seefeel’s sound has been likened to artists like My Bloody Valentine and Boards of Canada. Their experimental approach to music and unique soundscapes have garnered them a dedicated fan base over the years. With their latest release, “Everything Squared”, Seefeel continues to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories.
