Machine Girl, renowned as an American electronica sensation, came to prominence in New York during 2012. The musical endeavor originally started as a solo project led by DJ Chaotic Ugly, also known as Matt Stephenson. Over the years, the project grew and transformed into a formidable trio with the addition of drummer Sean Kelly in 2015 and guitarist Lucy Caputi in 2024. Their expansive sound, an amalgamation of various genres like punk, breakcore, industrial, and grindcore, has garnered a considerable fanbase and the attention of notable music critiques over the years.
Stepping into the limelight with a dynamic new album, “PsychoWarrior: MG Ultra X”, in 2025, Machine Girl cemented their presence in the music industry. Making a significant leap into the robust label of Future Classic, they once again managed to morph their style whilst preserving the essence of their musical entity.
