Echocord, the renowned label for dub techno standards, presents its latest release from Mathimidori, the German artist also known for his work under his real name on labels like REKIDS, Ovum, and Freude Am Tanzen. Mathimidori has previously released on Mule Musiq, Raum, Ornaments, and, of course, Echocord, where he returns with his latest offering following his 2020 album ‘Akebono’.
The EP starts off with the mesmerizing track ‘Anata’, a captivating composition that combines pulsating basslines, atmospheric synth layers, dub echoes, and sporadic spoken word samples, all flowing on top of a tight 4/4 rhythm.
