British producer Joe Seaton, popularly known as Call Super, has ushered in news of his latest album, ‘Eulo Cramps’, slated for release on October 6 under the aegis of Can You Feel the Sun. Giving a taste of what’s to come, Seaton introduced “Goldwood”, a track enriched by the vocals of Elke Wardlaw. The song can be sampled below.
But ‘Eulo Cramps’ is more than just an album; it’s a chapter of an expansive artistic narrative Seaton has named ‘Tell Me I Didn’t Choose This’. This undertaking melds various artistic forms: poetry, introspective writing, visual arts in the form of painting, and, of course, music. Each facet provides a window into Seaton’s creativity, as elaborated in an official statement.
To allow art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in this multifarious project, an exhibition will grace St Mary’s Church in Belgravia, London. Spanning a week, from November 27 to December 3, visitors will be privy to Seaton’s amalgamation of art forms in an enthralling display.
Call Super is no stranger to the music scene. 2020 saw the release of Seaton’s third album under this moniker, ‘Every Mouth Teeth Missing’. Moreover, Seaton, in collaboration with the talented multi-instrumentalist Julia Holter, unveiled the song “Illumina” from ‘Eulo Cramps’ in May.
‘Eulo Cramps’ promises not just an auditory experience, but a journey through a spectrum of art, bearing testimony to Call Super’s versatile artistry.
